Dr Josée Larochelle (or “Dr Jo” for her friends and English-speaking colleagues) is a physiatrist specialized in paediatrics, who did her fellowship in Sydney, Australia at the Sydney Childrens’ Hospital Network affiliated to the University of Sydney.
Before returning to school in Medicine, Dr Larochelle obtained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) and worked in large-scale project management in the private sector.
She is interested in:
- Gait (walking difficulties)
- Lower limb progressive malalignment and deformity
- Frequent falls
- Motor developmental delay
- Muskuloskeletal causes of pain
Including pathologies such as:
- planovalgus
- gait equinus (tip-toe walking)
- in-toeing or out-toeing
- plagiocephaly (cranial orthosis / helmet) and torticolis
She works with children, teenagers and very young adults in Montreal, Canada at the following sites:

In her free time, she enjoys sailing in the summer and downhill skiing in the winter.
